Program: Femme Fatale: works by Rimsky-Korskov, de Falla and Barber
My final Lucerne Festival concert as Chief Conductor of the Luzerner Sinfonie Orchester. A wonderful program based on the theme of dance and the femme fatale, featuring these showstoppers: Rimsky-Korsakov's Sheherezade, Samuel Barber's Medea's Dance of Vengeance and De Falla's El Amor Brujo, with the sultry Mezzo-Soprano, Rinat Shaham.
